7-18-24
New York, NY, March 14, 2024 – The Money Management Institute (MMI) announced the recipients of its 2024 Member Recognition Awards at the annual MMI Summit. Congress Asset Management is honored to accept The Chairman’s Award for a Small to Mid-Size Firm. This award is presented to firms that embody MMI’s principles and has been a member for more than five years.
The Money Management Institute Member Recognition Awards, including the Chairman’s Award, are given to member firms that have gone above and beyond to broaden the Money Management Institue’s reach within their firms. All Money Management Institute member firms are eligible for the Member Recognition Awards. Five awards are granted in the Member Recognition Awards series: The Chairman’s Award (one to a large firm and one to a small to mid-size firm), the President’s Award (one to a large firm and one to a small to mid-size firm), and The Governors’ Award. The Chairman’s Award recognizes a firm that embodies the Money Management Institute’s principles and has been a member for more than five years.
There is no cost and no application on the manager’s behalf to obtain this award. There are no cash or non-cash contributions made by recipients of this award.
The awardees are chosen through a quantitative approach based on the firms that have incorporated Money Management Institute’s strategic focus of helping colleagues connect, know and grow. These firms have connected the most with MMI’s offerings through attending its conferences, engaging in its educational resources, participating in communities, providing and consuming data, contributing to Money Management Institute’s Journal of Investment Advisory Solutions, and more. The information is shared with the Executive Committee of the Money Management Institute for review and approval. The Executive Committee of the Money Management Institute is able to add in a qualitative or subjective score should there be a tie or if firms are close in points. Anne Steer, Head of Distribution at Congress Asset Management, is a member of the Executive Committee of the Money Management Institute, but recused herself from the approval meeting for the Chairman’s Award for Small to Mid-Size Firm when it was known that Congress Asset Management was a finalist.
