Athena joined Congress Asset Management in 2025 as a Compliance Associate. In this role, she oversees the preparation of key regulatory filings, administers the Code of Ethics Policy, responds to due diligence requests, conducts compliance testing, and supports the streamlining, documentation, and ongoing maintenance of policies and procedures for the Compliance team.

Before joining Congress, Athena worked in management consulting, specializing in internal audit, financial advisory, risk and compliance, and anti-money laundering. She has extensive experience in operational audits across sectors such as finance (including REITs, fund administrators, asset managers, and banks), technology, healthcare, and federal and defense, as well as traditional SOX audits. Athena is a Certified Fraud Examiner and an active member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Outside of work, Athena is passionate about mentoring college students transitioning into the workforce. She enjoys spending time outdoors—especially hiking—and leads an active lifestyle that includes running, weightlifting, and exploring new travel destinations.
