Paul A. Lonergan
President
Experience: 17 years


Mr. Lonergan is the President of Congress Trust, N.A. and serves on the Congress Trust Board of Directors. He is responsible for the overall delivery of wealth management services to clients and their families. Prior to joining Congress Trust N.A. Mr. Lonergan was Senior Vice President at SEI Investments. At SEI, he founded and managed their Boston, MA office which focused on meeting the planning and investment needs of high net worth families. Mr. Lonergan graduated from the University of Massachusetts and has completed executive programs in Management and Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He serves as an active member of the Registered Investment Advisory Executive Forum for Fidelity Investments. He also serves on the finance committee of the Boston Chamber of Commerce and is involved in a number of non profit and charitable organizations.



Alfred A. Lagan, CFA
Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Congress Trust, N.A.
Investment Experience: 46 years

Mr. Lagan is the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Congress Trust, N.A. In 1985, he founded Congress Asset Management Company, and in 1998 he started the trust subsidiary, Congress Trust, N.A. Mr. Lagan is also the Co-Chief Investment Officer of the Investment Policy Committee for Congress Asset Management. Prior to founding Congress, Mr. Lagan held senior investment positions at several financial services firms. Most recently he was Senior Vice President, Senior Portfolio Manager, and Director of several investment subsidiaries of the Putnam Companies. Mr. Lagan is a CFA charter holder and a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, the Boston Security Analysts Society, and the Boston Economics Club. He has an MBA from New York University with distinction and a BA from Iona College.


Lawrence A. Ward, CFA
Chairman and Cashier of Congress Trust, N.A.
Investment Experience: 44 years

Mr. Ward is the Chairman and Cashier of Congress Trust, N.A. He is also a member of the Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Management Committee and the Investment Policy Committee of Congress Asset Management. Mr. Ward manages portfolios for institutional and private clients and oversees the firm’s socially responsible portfolios. Prior to joining the firm in 1989, Mr. Ward held the positions of Senior Vice President and Senior Portfolio Manager at Putnam Advisory Company. Mr. Ward is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Boston Economics Club. Mr. Ward has a BS from Ohio State University.


Paul J. Deeley
Senior Vice President and Secretary
Experience: 32 years

Mr. Deeley is Senior Vice President and Secretary of the Board of Directors of Congress Trust, N.A. He focuses on marketing and client relations for the Congress companies.
Prior to joining the firm in 1997, Mr. Deeley held senior executive positions in accounting, finance and investments for various organizations including: Vistech Corporation, a consulting group providing strategy development and financial advisory services to corporations worldwide, and Director of Finance for the Archdiocese of Boston, where he was responsible for business operations and oversight of the pension, insurance, health benefit and endowment funds. Mr. Deeley has an MBA from Syracuse University and a BS from Boston College.


Daniel A. Lagan, CFA
Executive Vice President, Trust Officer and Chairman of the Trust Committee
Investment Experience: 16 years

Mr. Lagan is Executive Vice President and Trust Officer of Congress Trust, N.A. Mr. Lagan is a member of the Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Trust Committee.
He is also President of Congress Asset Management, a member of its Management Committee and Co-Chief Investment Officer of its Investment Policy Committee.
Mr. Lagan manages portfolios for institutional and private clients. Prior to joining the firm in 1989, Mr. Lagan was an auditor with Price Waterhouse. Mr. Lagan is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. He has an MBA from Boston College and a BS from St. Michael’s College.



Kenneth R. Zannoni, CFP
Senior Vice President
Experience: 10 years

Mr. Zannoni is Senior Vice President for Congress Trust, N.A. He is responsible for developing comprehensive financial strategies for high net worth clients and their families. As a certified financial planner, he provides guidance around Investments, Retirement and Risk Management as well as Trust and Estate Planning. Prior to joining Congress Trust, N.A. Mr. Zannoni was a Vice President within Fidelity Investments’ Private Client Group where his team was responsible for servicing over $2 billion in High Net Worth client assets. In addition to being a certified financial planner®, he’s received a Certificate of Financial Planning through Boston University and certificates for Trust & Estate Planning through the Cannon Financial Institute. He received his BS from the University of Massachusetts with a concentration in Finance. He is a member of National Financial Planning Association as well the Massachusetts Chapter of FPA. Through the CFP Board, he conducts annual pro bono meetings for individuals who cannot afford financial planning advice and is involved in a number of non profit and charitable organizations.



E. Martine Elie, CFA
Vice President and Trust Officer
Investment Experience: 10 years

Ms. Elie is a Vice President and Trust Officer for Congress Trust, N.A. She is also a member of the Investment Policy Committee of Congress Asset Management. Ms. Elie also manages portfolios for institutional and private clients. Prior to joining the firm in 1999, Ms. Elie was a financial analyst and assistant portfolio manager for Majendie Charlton Securities, a brokerage firm in Montreal. Ms. Elie is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, the CFA Institute, and the Montreal Society of Financial Analysts. Ms. Elie has an MBA from Northeastern University and a BA in finance from Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Montreal.


John G. Fitzgerald, CFA
Vice President and Trust Officer
Investment Experience: 17 years


Mr. Fitzgerald is a Vice President and Trust Officer for Congress Trust, N.A. He is also a member of the Investment Policy Committee of Congress Asset Management. Mr. Fitzgerald manages portfolios for institutional and private clients. Prior to joining the firm in 2001, Mr. Fitzgerald was a Principal and Financial Advisor at MG Financial, a financial consulting firm in Boston. Previously, he was a Senior Financial Analyst and Assistant Vice President at Gannett, Welsh & Kotler Inc. Before joining Gannett, Welsh & Kotler he was an analyst at Wellington Management Company LLC were he assisted in the managing of institutional client relations. Mr. Fitzgerald is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the Association for Investment Management and Research. He received his MBA from Suffolk University and his BBA in Finance from University of Massachusetts at Amherst.


Jennifer Gates
Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager
Experience: 14 years

Mrs. Gates is a senior client relationship manager for Congress Trust, N.A. with more than 14 years financial planning experience. She serves as the primary contact for Congress Trust’s individual clients and their families providing comprehensive, holistic wealth management services. Prior to joining Congress Trust, Mrs. Gates was a Vice President with Fidelity Investments Private Client Group where her team was responsible for managing 400 client relationships and $1 billion in client assets. Previously she held positions with Wanger Asset Management in Chicago, IL. Mrs. Gates received her BA in Economics from Lake Forest College.



Maureen L. Moore, CFA
Vice President and Trust Officer
Investment Experience: 20 years


Ms. Moore is a Vice President and Trust Officer for Congress Trust, N.A. She is also a member of the Investment Policy Committee of Congress Asset Management. She manages portfolios for institutional and private clients. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, Ms. Moore was a Senior Portfolio Manager and Trust Officer for the Boston Company. She is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Boston Society of Security Analysts. Ms. Moore has an MBA from Simmons College Graduate School of Management and a BS from Boston University. She also is a graduate of the trust program at The New England School of Banking.


Thomas B. Murphy, CFA, Ph.D.
Vice President and Trust Officer
Investment Experience: 23 years


Mr. Murphy is a Vice President and Trust Officer for Congress Trust, N.A. He is also a member of the Investment Policy Committee of Congress Asset Management. Mr. Murphy manages portfolios for institutional and private clients. Prior to joining the firm in 1996, Mr. Murphy was a portfolio manager and security analyst for two large financial institutions. Mr. Murphy is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society. Mr. Murphy has a Ph.D. from Purdue University and a BA from  Bowdoin College.


Gregg A. O’Keefe, CFA
Vice President & Audit Committee Chairman
Investment Experience: 22 years


Mr. O’Keefe is a Vice President of Congress Trust, N.A.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee. He   is also a member of the Management Committee and the Investment Policy Committee of Congress Asset Management. Mr. O’Keefe manages portfolios for institutional and private clients. Prior to joining the firm in 1986, Mr. O’Keefe was an analyst at Trustees and Investors Company. Mr. O’Keefe is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the Boston Economics Club. He has an MBA from Boston College and a BS from Boston University.



Jeanne M. Powers
Assistant Vice President, Trust Administration
Experience: 20 years


Ms. Powers is responsible for the trust administration of Congress Trust, N.A. Prior to joining Congress Trust, N.A. in 2003, Ms. Powers worked for Mellon Private Asset Management as a Trust Officer. Prior to Mellon, she worked for the law firm of Ropes & Gray as a Tax and Trust Administrator. Ms. Powers has an AS in business from Quincy College.


Todd W. Solomon, CFA
Vice President and Trust Officer
Investment Experience: 13 years


Mr. Solomon is a Vice President and Trust Officer for Congress Trust, N.A. He is also a member of the Investment Policy Committee of Congress Asset Management. Mr. Solomon manages portfolios for institutional and private clients. Before joining Congress, Mr. Solomon was a portfolio manager and equity research analyst at United States Trust Company of Boston. Previously, he was a sector research specialist at Fidelity Management & Research. Mr. Solomon is a CFA charter holder and a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the Association for Investment Management and Research. He received his MBA with concentrations in Finance and Economics from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and his BS from Georgetown University.



Richard J. Villiotte
Director of Marketing & Strategic Development
Experience: 15 years


Mr. Villiotte is a brand development and process implementation specialist with over 15 years of experience in marketing and visual design. Mr. Villiotte is responsible for the enhancing the firm’s brand awareness, and working with the entire Trust team to establish client service standards that promote deep and lasting relationships. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Villiotte served as Director of the Visual Communications Program for Clark University. He received his B.A. from Clark University in Worcester, MA. and holds multiple certifications in Process Management.
